Breastfeeding is a new experience for everyone ... mom, baby and family.  It doesn't matter if you've never breastfed or if you've breastfed several babies, each experience and each baby are very different. So, Boobies for Newbies is for all expecting families!

Boobies for Newbies is not your traditional breastfeeding class.  Much of our together-time is spent discussing what to expect the first few days, as well as how a newborn behaves during that time period.  Often, the first few days are the "make it or break it" of breastfeeding. Being prepared ahead of time can make all the difference!

Basic topics are covered in every class.  You'll learn about:

• what to expect the first few days

• how to get breastfeeding off to the best start

• positioning and latching

• establishing your milk supply

• the basics about pumping
